Mission

West Bengal has mission to enable Telecom Service Provider/Internet Services Provider (TSP/ ISP) to seek No Objection Certificate (NOC) from respective Government Bodies like Urban Local Bodies, Gram Panchayats and Statutory Authorities like the Public Works Department (PWD), Urban Development & Municipal Authority (UD&MA) and Panchayat & Rural Development (P&RD) or other State Agencies such as West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBEIDC) and the land belonging to State Government Departments like Public Works Department (Building and Roads), Forests, Irrigation, Revenue, Agriculture, Development and Panchayats for establishment of Underground and Overground Telegraph Infrastructures.

Vision

From the perspective of Digital India, Single Window Clearance System for all Telecom infrastructure deployments has been established with a vision to digitalize the complete process of getting NOC for laying Overground and Underground Telegraph Infrastructure across the West Bengal.
